It matures "home above the clouds" in the 2,300 meters, between high mountains with active volcanoes and green landscapes. Uses the Sistema Solera process which "relaxes" the blend of different Reserve Rum different ages and characters. Produced from sugar cane honey instead of molasses. Used, slow maturation process where the chilly mountain air reduces the evaporation of the distillate. The rum was created to celebrate the founding of the city in Guatemala Zacapa. Enjoyed neat or with a large ice derived from clean, neutral ph water.
