In Leuven, Belgium operated a brewery named De Horen from 1366. In 1708 the Sebastian Artois took Brewery in his hands and gave his name to 1717. The Stella Artois began to be produced in 1926 as a seasonal beer for Christmas . Originally sold in Canada, where the success was so great that he continued to be produced throughout the year and throughout the Second World War. The beer was called only the beginning Stella (star) .The InBev opened a fully automated brewery in Leuven in 1993 and reached a total production of over 10 million hectoliters per year.
