It comes from a 20-year-old vineyard dominated by red soils with a high content of stone. Moschopolis 18 matures for 18 months in French second-hand oak barrels, and another 6 months in the bottle. In the glass we see a deep purple color. On the nose aromas of ripe black fruits such as sour cherry gooseberry cherry and raspberry, in the background we find aromas of chocolate pepper as well as hints of lavender and eucalyptus. The mouth is full of high concentration and acidity that gives vibrancy and balance notes It accompanies excellent meat dishes, both cooked and grilled, cooked with red sauces, rustic fatty pies (mainly meat pies), yellow ripe cheeses. It is an aging wine that is already very ripe and friendly to consume once purchased.
